The law firm of Van Cott, Bagley, Cornwall & McCarthy is pleased to announce that Kelley M. Marsden has joined the firm as an Associate in the firm's Litigation Section. Following her admission to the Utah State Bar, Ms. Marsden's practice will focus on general civil and commercial litigation. Ms. Marsden joins Van Cott following a clerkship with the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, where she was a law clerk to the Honorable J. Clifford Wallace. Prior to her clerkship, Ms. Marsden practiced at Latham & Watkins, LLP, in its Washington, D.C. office, where she represented clients in corporate and finance transactions, securities offerings and regulatory matters.
Ms. Marsden received her J.D., magna cum laude, from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University in 2006 and is admitted to practice in Virginia and the District of Columbia.
